lunes: Study for tomorrow's Chapter 5 test. Keep working on presentations and papers. A few things to keep in mind:
1) Make sure you answer all 3 questions from the rubric in both your paper AND your presentation. Be creative with the connection - think outside the box!
2) Keep your presentation (Spanish) simple - simple sentence structure, simple vocab, just the basics of the information you covered in more depth in your paper. Try to avoid using lots of new vocabulary, or if you have a term that is necessary for your topic, see if you can make it obvious for the class what it means by including pictures in your visual that help back up what you are saying.
3) Make sure you PRACTICE your spoken presentation ahead of time. There will be no notecards allowed, no words on your visual, etc. Make sure you practice enough to feel comfortable sharing your information, and to check that you can meet the 2 minute time goal.
BACK UP YOUR FILES! Murphy's Law is a hard lesson to learn, and if you don't save early and save often you may find yourself a victim of the dreaded computer crash. Take precautions so this doesn't happen to you.
Buena suerte ;) We are so close to the end of the year, hang in there and finish strong.
